My Work
My work features a wide range of styles and mediums, from paintings to mixed media and jewelry. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting pieces to add to my collection, ensuring that there is always something new to discover .
I am influenced by nature, the environment with its cycles and seasons. In my work as a mixed media artist, I often repurpose materials such as fabric, paper, wire, metals, found objects in order to create something new. My work is both two and three dimensional, abstract and figurative. The work is often whimsical, however the viewer is invited to make his/her own interpretation.
I create with an initial spontaneity but can take some time to complete. The works have a life of their own.
As a teaching artist I help students young and old to tap into their own creativity.
